  1. Response to Wokingham Town Hall Tabletop Takeover!

    Hi Cat,

What an exciting event you have planned for November 16th! The lineup of board games looks fantastic, and it’s great to see such a variety for both seasoned gamers and newcomers alike. Carcassonne and Qwirkle are personal favorites of mine, and I’m excited to see how everyone engages with the games.

The Dungeons & Dragons taster sessions sound like a brilliant way to introduce new players to the world of tabletop RPGs. It’s wonderful that your store continues to foster community through these interactive experiences. With your recent recognition at the Pride of Reading awards, it’s clear that Eclectic Games is making a positive impact in the local gaming culture!

For anyone interested in diving deeper into tabletop gaming, I would recommend checking out videos or online tutorials of the featured games before the event. This can enhance the experience significantly, especially for those who may be unfamiliar with the rules. Additionally, consider setting up a Facebook or Slack group before the event for attendees to connect and discuss strategies or organize games. It could be a great way to build excitement leading up to the day!

Looking forward to an action-packed day and seeing how the community comes together for this tabletop takeover!

    Best,
